LYNNE HOFFMAN KEATING
This documentary project represents the culmination of Ms. Keating's career that spans over twenty-five years as a writer,
producer and filmmaker. Her experience with documentary production and oral history includes work with the Witness to
the Holocaust Project of Emory University when she co-produced Currents of Courage, a film on the founder
and his work in human rights. A recent documentary, Desert Penguins, had select footage aired on CBS Sunday Morning
as a prestigious nature segment.
Ms. Keating has produced and written numerous media and promotional projects as well as medical,
educational and corporate training films. Other production credits include Dog House Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Black Entertainment
Television and AIB Network in Atlanta.
As a free lance journalist, Ms. Keating has published articles in the Washington Post, Filmmaker’s
Monthly, Hollywood Reporter, Videography and the Los Angeles Times Syndicate. Her media relations
skills propelled her into nearly two decades of work providing crisis communications during disasters for a federal
government agency.
Keating often serves as a public speaker and workshop instructor. She has been a presenter,
panelist and moderator for a variety of professional and community groups including: Chautauqua Institution, Women in Film
/Tape-Atlanta, Association for Independent Commercial Producers, GA Hurricane Conference, GA Writers Conference and Georgia
Assoc. of Educators.
Ms. Keating received her B. A. in English Literature from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt
University.
